I'm so sorry to hear of "Stan the Man's" passing. He was one of my Favorite Customers at CVS (#3306 at 1949 W. Market St.). I always enjoyed seeing him coming into the store as I knew that I would have certainly have a pleasant transaction with him (When you work behind a counter, being able to rely on that makes a HUGE difference in having a good workday.). He was one of several folks I missed when I left the store and he was indeed a mensch. I often wondered how he was doing considering his recent health issues and I had hoped to run into him during my occasional trips to my old stomping grounds at CVS. I'm sad to know that he's gone, but I know he's at a place where he doesn't have to deal with the above-mentioned health issues.

Marla and I are so deeply saddened by our loss of Stan. I've known Stan since his wedding to our dear Harriet. Marla has known them both since our engagement forty-five years ago. They were family to us. Our hearts are heavy. We wish our love to his family and friends as they share fond memories of Stan. Stevie (Eddie) and Marla Schwartz
