Jeffrey Friess Obituary
Jeffrey C. Friess, 52, passed away Sept. 11, 2013.
Born in Akron, he was a lifetime area resident and President of Friess Welding and a graduate of Lincoln Welding School. He was a member of Star Lodge #187, F&AM, Tadmor Temple Shrine and Greater Akron Motorcycle Club.
He was preceded in death by grandparents, Charles and Florence Friess and Harold and Lou Norton, and father-in-law, Nick Bolanz. He is survived by his wife, Brenda; parents, Russel and Betty Friess of City of Green; sister, Jeanette (Rick) Bell of the City of Green; mother-in-law, Jane Bolanz of Cuyahoga Falls; and many other relatives and friends.
Friends are invited for visitation Monday, Sept. 16 from 10 to 11 a.m. at Stow Community Church, 1567 Pilgrim Dr. Star Lodge 187 F&AM will conduct service at 11 a.m. immediately followed by a Memorial Service with Pastor Jim Case officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Stow-Kent Animal Hospital, 4559 Kent Rd., Stow 44224. (REDMON, STOW, 330-688-6631)

Damn Fuzzy, I didn't know, Kelly passed July 2013, we always missed u guys from when u all came down to stay w us for bike week, lost touch after we left there. We have lost too many of our crew we loved so much. Mikey in2017 from simply a trip an fall, sux, sorry, not trying to b disrespectful. Love ya brother, see you one day, not too soon, want to get a little more trouble before I cash in my chips.

Friess Family-
I heard of your loss through the mighty motorcycle community. I was a marshal at Nelson Ledges and saw him race there. Never an unkind word, except for the waitress at Jose Babuska's (Grand Rapids MI) when he asked how was her Grand Tour of Europe.

This news was unexpected! I had a lot of fun with Jeff over the years and most always two wheel related. We were both unexpectedly in the hospital together from injuries but made the most of it while inside and then in recuperation. I enjoy counting him as one of my friends over the years. Godspeed my friend.

It is hard to get a grip when you have lost a Husband,father,brother,cousin or son. Growing up with JEFF, Ricky and Mike,And the boating,Skiing,Swimming. To Brenda and the Friess Family,
Tod & I are so saddened at the loss of such a wonderful man. We like many just adored Jeff. He was such a hoot, always smiling.
He amazed us all with his racing, one would never know that he had diabetes because it certainly didn't get in his way.
I have never heard a bad comment about Jeff, everyone that knows him only has good things to say about him.
Brenda, please know that you have your family at GAMC forever. We love you and Friessy cup. Our hearts are very heavy at your loss but please know that we are here for you.
