Jacquelyn Morrison Obituary
Jackie Morrison, 49, of Akron, went home to be with the Lord on March 25, 2018.
She was a graduate of Green High School and the University of Akron. Jacquelyn enjoyed working out, cooking, sewing, art and spending time with her nieces and nephews.
Jackie is survived by her parents, Dwight (Darlene) Morrison and Donna (Dan) Budrow; siblings, Ben (Connie), Matt, Andy (Andrea), Nick (Tricia) and James; nieces and nephew, James, Rachel, Ashlyn, Brantley, Oliver, Christian, Pierson, Miles, Sydney and Alivia; friend, Dan Tonkin; as well as many other loving family and friends.
Memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, March 30, 2018 at Schermesser Funeral Home, 600 E. Turkeyfoot Lake Rd. (SR619), Akron, Ohio 44319. Family and friends may call on Thursday, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Inurnment will be at East Liberty Cemetery.

We had great times together. One of the funniest was the time we went to a local restaurant to get a sale with a mountain of cheese and yummy warm bread. We loved this meal because we were on a very tight budget snd we could usually ask for a refill of the bread basket. Upon requesting a third refill the man we dubbed the "bread miser" told us we would have to pay for it. Could he not see we were just two poor, single and hungry young women!. We canceled the third bread basket and were always on the lookout for the bread miser each time we went back. Boy did we get a good laugh over that dining experience! Since we both worked in restaurants we knew they throw bread away all the time-sheesh! I still miss that girl!

News of our losing Jackie was late in reaching me but nonetheless devastating especially in light how she lifted the hearts of those near her. Peace be with you and to those whose hearts ache at her absence. John 15:5

Words can not express how sad Dick and I are at the loss of your Jackie. Donna and family our hearts break for you. She had the best smile. I remember her putting up with our craziness on our walks. We know how much she will be missed.

I loved Jackie like a sister. We had so many fun times. We spent a lot of times laughing over crazy things. All of my friends who met her over the years, couldn't help but like her; Great smile, fun sense of humor, kind heart, independent spirit, creative. We will miss her. Her loving spirit will always be in our hearts. God Bless her and keep her, until we are all together again.

I was so sorry to hear of this. Jackie was my best friend growing up. I remember lots of laughing, begging to spend the night, rollerskating, biking...She was smart, full of fun and imagination and an amazing friend I will always remember. May God give comfort to her loved ones.
