Nigel Hujar Obituary
Nigel Ian C. Hujar, 29, passed away on June 14, 2018, following a short illness.
Nigel was born in Akron, Ohio, to John and Michelle (Koshar) Hujar and lived in the Akron area most of his life. Nigel was the life of the party, the world was his stage. As one of his friends put it "No one ever met him that didn't love him immediately." He had a beautiful baritone voice and was a great actor; performing in school plays at St. Anthony School, Weathervane Theater, Hudson Players, and the Carousel Dinner Theatre. He loved dogs, especially Jax. He was an avid Star Wars fan and loved going to the theater whether it was in Toronto or Cleveland, as long as it was a musical.
Nigel was preceded in death by his grandfather, John Leo Koshar. He is survived by his parents, John and Michelle Hujar; brother, Montgomery; sisters, Jocelyn and Jenna Hujar; grandparents, Cheryl Koshar and Richard and MaryAnn (DiCaprio) Hujar, as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many, many, friends.
Memorial Mass will be Friday, June 22, 2018, at 11 a.m. at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 83 Mosser Place, Akron, OH 44310. Visitation will be Thursday, June 21, 2018, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at H B Moore Funeral Home, (corner of N. Main Street and Mildred Avenue). In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to the American Cancer Society.
