BILL COUSSENS Obituary

Nov. 1, 1926 - Aug. 6, 2012 OKLAHOMA CITY Our father, Bill J. Coussens left to be with His Father in Heaven on August 6, 2012. Bill is survived by his wife, Angie; his five children and their spouses, Bron & Chris Coussens, Miles Coussens, Lise & Tim Simpson, Jon & Cathie Cousens and Greg & Shauna Coussens; grandchildren, Steven, Michelle, Hayden, Ellen, Shannon and Reece; four great grandchildren; and many other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Herman, and sister, Beatrice.A memorial service will be held for Bill at Exchange Avenue Baptist Church at 1312 S. Penn in Okla. City on Sunday, August 12, at 3:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations honoring Dad can be given to Exchange Avenue Baptist Church or a charity of your choice.

To the Coussens family: Bill was our friend from days in the Young People's Department at Exchange Ave. Baptist Church. We have memories of his good singing/harmonizing voice and being a part of our get-togethers after the Sunday evening services and weekly visitation. We enjoyed having Bill and Angie join us in Galveston for a few days several years ago. You have our sympathy and prayers at this difficult time.

To the Coussens family: My sympathy as you say an earthly farewell to Bill. How good to know that he is with the Lord, and we'll see him again. Meanwhile, we have so many wonderful memories of a friendship spanning 65-plus years, begun at Exchange Avenue Church. Bill's leading the memorial service for Dan meant much to our family.
