Alice Ann Gray Coffman, 85, passed away Nov. 19, 2020, at her daughter's home in Edmond. Coffman was born in Oklahoma City, OK, graduated from Deer Creek High School and earned her Bachelor of Science in Education (Business Education) and her master's degree in education, both from the University of Central Oklahoma. She was a longtime school teacher in Oklahoma public schools, most of those years at Harrah High School, teaching business, mathematics and computer courses. She was a member of Harrah United Methodist Church. Upon retirement, she volunteered for United Methodist Circle of Care and Oklahoma Retired Teachers' Association.
Coffman was preceded in death by her parents, William D. and Lela R. Gray. She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Mary Ellen (Gray) and Bob Petricek; her daughter, Mary Jane Coffman; her daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Bradley Beardmore; and many beloved Randolph and Gray cousins.
A come and go Visitation will be held on Monday, Nov. 23, 2020, and on Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2020, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., and the family will be present to accept guests on Tuesday, Nov. 24 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Both events will take place at Asa Smith Funeral Service in Harrah.
A Graveside Service is scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2020 at 2 p.m. at the Gracelawn Cemetery in Edmond, OK.
A memorial service will be scheduled for a later date.
Services are under the direction of Asa Smith Funeral Service of Harrah.
