Aug. 6, 1948 - Oct. 23, 2014 OKLAHOMA CITY Jackie Leroy Farley passed away Oct. 23, 2014. He was born Aug. 6, 1948 to Joe Bob and Olga Oleta Farley in Tipton, Oklahoma. Jack was a graduate of Tipton High School and OU. Jack served in the Navy in 1971-72. Jack proudly served as secretary for the Oklahoma Democratic Party's Veterans Committee and was recently honored with their Veteran of the Year Award. Jack and his wife Linda owned L.L. James Advertising in Oklahoma City. Jack had also operated newspapers in Okemah and Piedmont. Jack was a member of the Graphic Communications Council/International Brotherhood of TeamstersJack was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Linda of Oklahoma City; his children Bre Anastasia and husband Kevin Cynova of Oklahoma City; his son James Brett and his wife Julie Farley of Mustang; two grandchildren, Cassandra Cynova and Carter Farley; his brother Jerry and Susan Farley of Topeka, Kan., his sister Jackie Farley and Susan Arn of Norman, his brother Joe Ray Farley of Edmond, and his sister Janet Kay and Justin Jackson of Edmond; Linda's daughter Kathy, her husband Jeff and son Ethan of Altus as well as the rest of Linda's family; and his Aunt Nellie Futrell of Norman and numerous cousins and friends.Memorial services for Jackie Farley will be 11 a.m., Friday, November 7th, at Mayflower Congregational Church, 3901 NW 63rd St., Oklahoma City.
