FRANKLINVILLE - Nancy L. Frazier, of Humphrey Road, died Thursday (Feb. 18, 2021) at The Pines in Machias, following a long illness.

Born July 12, 1941, in Humphrey, she was the daughter of Donald Mowry and Fay Rhoades.

Ms. Frazier earned an associate degree from Bryant-Stratton College in Buffalo. She was employed for 30 years in the business office at Franklinville Central School.

Nancy was an avid walker and served on the Humphrey Town Board and the Blount Library board in Franklinville.

Enjoying her retirement, she was active in placing flags on veteran's graves in cemeteries in the town of Humphrey. She was a member of the Red Hat Society, who also enjoyed trips to the casino.

Surviving is a daughter, Melanie Frazier of Erie, Pa.; a son, Jack Frazier Jr. of Franklinville; several grandchildren and step-grandchildren; a brother, Robert (Sue) Rhoades of California.

Friends may gather with the family from 3 to 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday (Feb. 24, 2021) at the Babbitt & Easton Funeral Home, where a short prayer service will be held at 6:30 p.m. COVID-19 restrictions will be followed. A grave side service in Willoughby Cemetery in Humphrey will be held in the spring.

Nancy was a good friend in our years at Franklinville School. I am sorry we lost touch. I will be praying for Jack and Melandie and their families. Nancy was a wonderful person and will be missed. Sue Anthony(McElban)

Nancy was a good friend to us and to the Town of Humphrey. She will be remembered and missed for years. Rest in peace my friend, enjoy your pain free walk in the hills of Heaven.
