Dearest John ... Please know that hearts are breaking for you and your family. Also know that they will be taken care of in your imposed and very premature absence. Remember, in the candid words of your loving and courageous wife, my sister: Like it or not ... you and I will be forever bonded. Much Love Always Brother!

I had the pleasure of getting to know John when he was still in high school. What a great guy. He had the biggest heart and that great sense of humor. He had a great influence on everyone that he met and interacted with. He was not only a brother-in-law but also a great friend. We will miss him always and he will always be in our hearts. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Our love, Steve, Valerie and Steven

I have known John for 3/4 of my life. I've worked for John and his family for almost 20 years. There were a lot of good times and even some great times working for him. Some times we would play a little tennis on our lunch breaks. I remember playing frisbee with him in the rain when I was about 10. He is my Brother-In-Law, my friend and was my boss.
Barb has known John for 26 years and loves him like a brother.
He is gone now. His pain and suffering are over.
He will always be loved and never forgotten.

I was introduced to John by Earl Kolar the former owner of the repair shop I bought in 1989. After that first meeting it was like the open door policy at 714 So. 15th. Thanks to John I got to do things Id' never thought possible. We played numerus coarses and watched a good many games at Blatt over the years. And when I'd order from Driscoll he'd use the comic section for packing. The last time we spoke he didn't tell me anything was wrong, but he did tell me about how much fun he was having with his grandkids. Rest in peace my friend.

I only had the pleasure to hang out with John a few times during the College World Series. But in that little amount a time it was very obvious the size of his heart. He was was one of those very few people that you just couldnt get enough of. He will be missed greatly.
