Rena Way Obituary
She was born on March 21, 1951 in Oneida, N.Y., a daughter of William and Ruth (George) Trexler and was a graduate of VVS Central School.
Rena was a former certified nursing assistant with Oneida Healthcare.
On March 28, 1970 she was united in marriage with Everett Way and the couple has shared a loving union of over 43 years together.
Surviving are her husband, Everett Way Jr. of Sherrill; two sons, William Way of Sherrill and Steven Way of Vernon Center; one daughter, Denise Way of Oneida; three grandchildren, Kyle, Bethany and Cameron; her mother, Ruth Trexler of Sherrill; two brothers, William (Mary) Trexler of Vernon and John Trexler of Parish; and one sister, Kathleen (Thomas) Rogers of Lyons Falls.
Family and friends are invited to call on Wednesday from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Malecki Funeral Home Inc., 464 Sherrill Road, Sherrill. Rena's funeral service will be held on Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Malecki Funeral Home Inc., 464 Sherrill Road, Sherrill, N.Y. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Oneida, N.Y.
