Anthony Phillips Obituary
Mr. Phillips was born on Aug. 12, 1920 in Oneida, N.Y. and was the son of the late Frank and Gussie (Companie) Phillips. He was married to the late Ourania (Nia) Karalekas in 1955 at St. Joseph Church in Oneida.
Mr. Phillips graduated from Oneida High School and served in the US Army from 1942-1946. He also graduated from Utica College, class of 1950, and was a long time civilian employee of the US Air Force at bases in both Rome, N.Y. and Bedford, Mass.
He is survived by three sons, one daughter-in-law and five grandsons; also cousins Bruce and Jean Nichols and family of Oneida, N.Y. and Cynthia Perkins and family of Oneida Castle, N.Y.
In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Phillips was preceded in death by a brother and sister who both died in infancy.
There will be no calling hours. Burial will take place on June 5 at Edgewood Cemetery in Nashua. Arrangements will be handled by the Anctil-Rochette Funeral Home of Nashua, N.H.
