Williams, 80, Genesee Street, formerly of Route 31, Verona, died Monday evening, Jan. 29, 2018, in the Katherine Luther Home, Clinton, where she had been a patient for the past three and one-half months.Born in the Town of Vienna, on May 23, 1937, she was a daughter of Homer and Martha Jones Hilliker. A lifelong resident of the area, Patricia was a graduate of Camden High School. She married Robert M. Williams in North Bay, on March 3, 1956.Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Williams was employed with the Oneida Container Company, Inc. in Vernon and previously had been employed with the General Electric Company. She was a member of the Vienna United Methodist Church, a life member of the Sylvan Beach and the Vernon American Legion Auxiliaries, a member and past president of the Oneida County American Legion Auxiliary, a member of 40 & 8 Society, and the Daughters of the American Revolution.Surviving besides her husband, Robert, are her two daughters, Cindy Kirk and her companion, Don Prentice of Vernon and Ruth De Wolfe and companion, Steve Vanderhoff of Charlotte, N.C.; her two sons, Robert M. Williams Jr. of Sylvan Beach and George A. Williams and his companion, Carolee Niles of Vernon Center; her former daughter-in-law, Rosaline Nelson of North Bay; one son-in-law, Chris Walker of Camden and former son-in-law, James De Wolfe of Durhamville; her grandchildren, Jason (Renee) Kirk, Matthew (Ashley) Williams, Bradley Williams, Casey (Josh) Riegler, Andrew (Samantha) Walker, Zachary De Wolfe and Justin (Mariah) De Wolfe; her two great-grandchildren, Grayson and Hudson Williams; her two sisters, Shirley Strong of Oriskany Falls and Joyce Donaldson of Mount Pleasant, S.C.; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a daughter, Lisa Walker in 2003; a sister, Audrey Kinney, and four brothers, Harold, Donald, Norman and Edward Hilliker.The family wishes to thank Amelia and so many others who helped during this difficult time.Funeral services will be held 6 p.m., Monday from the Campbell-Dean Funeral Home, Inc., 260 Main St., Oneida, with the Rev. Marsha Madore, officiating. Spring interment will be made in North Bay Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home 2-6 p.m., Monday, prior to the service.
