CANASTOTA- Shelly Myers, 45, of Canastota passed away unexpectedly Friday, April 9, 2021. Born in Oneida Shelly was a long time resident of the Canastota area. She was employed for many years as a home health aide, building friendships with those she took care of, not merely viewing them as clients. Shelly will be remembered as a free sprit who loved her children, family and friends. She enjoyed motorcycle rides, collecting hats and rocks for her rock garden. She was generous and compassionate, and strived to make people smile. She is survived by her son Devin Myers of Canastota, her daughters Taylor Fink of Kirkville and Kristy Myers of Canastota, her fiancé Harold “Hoot” Fink of Bridgeport, her mother Shirley Miller of Kirkville, her brothers and sisters in-law Bill and Serena Myers of Stockbridge and Tom and Erica Myers of Madison and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father William Myers Sr. Calling hours will be 5-7pm Thursday, April 15, 2021 at the G.F. Zimmer Funeral Home, 702 Legion Drive, Chittenango.
