Timothy Joseph Eppolito Obituary
Timothy Joseph EppolitoTimothy Joseph Eppolito passed away comfortably at home on Sunday, June 10, 2018, surrounded by his family. He was born on Sept. 3, 1954 in Oneida, N.Y. where he made many lifelong friends. He graduated from St. Bonaventure in 1976, again collecting friends along the way. He was employed by AXA as well as MONY prior to that. And again, picking up more friends. Tim had a wonderful way about him, he was fun loving, happy-go-lucky, light hearted, honest, and sincere. People just naturally were drawn to him. To Tim, his family and friends were the most important thing in his life. He loved to travel, he loved to play golf, and he loved music. He especially enjoyed live music whether it be a small local artist, or one of his favorites such as Van Morrison, which he had seen numerous times, including twice in Ireland. He loved sports and was a huge New York Yankees fan, however, his heart and soul belonged to SU Basketball, where he held season tickets for 37 years. He will be missed but never forgotten.Timothy is survived by his wife, Brenda (Sweeney) Eppolito; his son, Sean (Jennifer) Eppolito of Minoa; his daughter, Sara Eppolito of Boston, Mass.; his step-son, Austin Sweeney of Jamesville; two brothers, Tony Eppolito of Oneida and John (Michelle Morris) Eppolito of Skaneateles; father-in-law, James Hartman of Cicero; several nephews and cousins.A Funeral Service in celebration of Timothy's life will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at Thomas J. Pirro Jr. Funeral Home. Burial will follow in North Syracuse Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 4-7 p.m. on Friday, June 15, 2018 at the funeral home, 3401 Vickery Road (corner of Buckley Road) North Syracuse, N.Y.In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Francis House, 108 Michael's Ave., Syracuse, N.Y. 13208.Words of comfort may be expressed at: tjpfuneralhome.com "FAMILY OWNED" (315) 451-9500 http://www.lastingmemories.com/timothy-joseph-eppolito
