Robert Petrie Obituary
Born in Oneida, on Feb. 24, 1965, he was the son of Richard E. and Nina Herringshaw Petrie Sr.
Robert was raised and educated in the Oneida Schools, moving to Chittenango this past year. Robert married Sharon Sutton in Oneida on July 5, 1997.
Mr. Petrie was employed with Oneida Limited as a shanker. He was of the Christian faith and was an avid NASCAR fan.
Surviving besides his wife, Sharon are; his father Richard Sr. of Oneida; two step daughters and step son-in-law, Melissa and Tim McKenna of Sherrill and Heather Gates of Vernon; one sister, Laurie Johnson and her companion Jay Moody of Oneida; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Richard E. and Loni Petrie Jr. of Oneida and R. Charles Petrie of Oneida; one granddaughter, Reagan McKenna; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 7 p.m., Tuesday, from the Campbell-Dean Funeral Home, Inc., 260 Main St., Oneida with the Rev. Randy Phillips, officiating . Interment will be made in the Oneida Castle Cemetery. Friends may call prior to the funeral service 5 to 7 p.m. Contributions, may be made, to the Chittenango Fire Department, 417 Genesee St., Chittenango, NY 13037.
