Marion Egan Obituary
She was born Oct. 22, 1969 at Oneida City Hospital.
She married Mark Egan on July 4, 2008.
She is predeceased by her husband, Mark Egan and parents, Verna and Norm Hilliker.
Her surviving loved ones include brothers Bill Eastman and Andrew Eastman of New York; sisters Karen Spaulding of North Carolina, Deborah Gilbert of Arizona, and Lisa Robinson of Virginia as well as several much loved nieces and nephews. Also surviving is her father-in-law, Paul Egan.
Marion was a 1988 graduate of Oneida High School and was employed by Lowes in Auburn, N.Y.
Marion enjoyed wildlife, was an avid Audubon enthusiast and loved her dog Quincy.
Her final wish to donate her body for cancer research in hopes that a life might be saved was granted upon her death through Med Cure.
Her family is deeply grateful to her dear friends and the staff of Hospice workers who so lovingly assisted her.

Another dear cousin lost to this dreaded disease. Sincerest sympathy to her family. A sad day, for sure. Grandma Martha will surely take care of her grandchildren who have joined her. Rest in peace dear Marion.

So sad to hear of Marion's passing. I went to high school with her and she was always a warm and sweet person to be around. I pray for the family that they will find comfort in this difficult time

My deepest condolences to Marion's family. Take comfort in knowing you could not have given her a more beautiful and loving send off. Although she wasn't ready to go, you gave her every comfort possible in her final hours. Thinking of you all and I am finding comfort in knowing her suffering is over and she was surrounded by love. She was so strong through it all. I will forever be amazed by her strength.
