Jacqueline Gunn

Atlanta Jacqueline Jeanette Prince Gunn (Prin), 73, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her children, on May 9, 2011. Prin was born in Atlanta on November 17, 1937, at lived there all of her life. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. David Prince, also of Atlanta. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, David. She is survived by her brother, Thomas Michael Prince; children, Cody Gunn, and his wife, Janie, Michael Gunn, Susan Gunn, Lee Armour, and her husband, Michael, and Amy Bortle; and grandchildren, Miriam Metcalf, Carter Gunn, Chandler Gunn, Gracie Armour, Will Armour, Jack Bortle, and Brooks Bortle. We will miss her passion for life, her love for her family and friends, her deep faith, and her great courage. A memorial service will be held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 17, at the Cathedral of Christ the King, 2699 Peachtree Rd. NE, Atlanta. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or to Susan G. Komen for the Cure. R. T. Patterson Funeral, Lilburn, has charge of arrangements.
