Mrs. Minnie Sue Adams Trapp Jordan, 83, died Saturday, Dec. 29, 2018, at Springs Memorial Hospital in Lancaster.
A memorial service was held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 3, 2019, at Mitford Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Marty Roberts officiating. Interment followed in Pineview Baptist Church Cemetery, 111 Pineview Church Road, Blythewood, SC 29016.
Mrs. Jordan was born Nov. 23, 1935, in Lancaster, County and was a daughter of the late Benjamin Franklin Adams and Annie Pate Adams. She was co-owner and operator of a garment manufacturing company with her first husband, Glenn Trapp, for many years. Mrs. Jordan was a member of Mitford Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, James Curtis Jordan; stepchildren, Donald Trapp of Lowell, N.C. and Glenda Carpenter of Gastonia, N.C.; five grandchildren; two brothers-in-law, Gene Trapp of Blythewood and Robert Trapp of Winnsboro; and two sisters-in-law, Betty Morrison and Rosa Trakas of Blythewood.
Mrs. Jordan was preceded in death by her first husband, John Glenn Trapp; and a sister-in-law, Lois Kirby.
