Sandra Rae Laney Holland

Sandra Rae Laney Holland, 78, of Vancouver, passed away Sept. 11, 2018, in Vancouver.
Sandi was born in Lewiston, Idaho to Francis and Alberta Laney, April 8, 1940. She went to high school in Milton FreeWater, Ore., and graduated in 1958. She worked several office jobs and then 10 years at Oregon Worsted Co., three years at Lutheran Outdoor Ministries, and 17 years at Parry Center for Children, Portland, before retiring in 2002.
She enjoyed spending time with her husband and family, gardening, her dog and attending her grandchildren's sporting events and activities. She was heavily involved with her church.
Sandi is survived by her husband, Al Holland, Vancouver; children, Ron (Kathy) Clark, Beaverton, Randy (Patty) Clark, Vancouver, Raemarie-Bunny Saylor, Vancouver, Gary (Krista) Holland, Vancouver, Melissa (John) Larson, Milwaukie; sister, Quig (Garry) Speer, La Grande, Ore.; brother, Frank (Darlene) Mauro, Sunriver, Ore.; grandchildren, Nathan (Shaadi) Clark, Kelcee (Cody) Wynne, Nick (Cali) Clark, Mitch (Danielle) Saylor, Zach and AJ Larson; great-grandchildren, Jacob Clark, Bobak Clark; nieces, Stacy Arritola, Jenifer Mauro, Casey Mauro; and several great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Francis and Alberta Laney; and nephew, Steven Speer.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 30, 2018, at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church, Vancouver, with Pastor Susan Gerow officiating.

classmate and friend in high school. Was looking forward to seeing her at class reunion.
