I can't believe it's been 14 years, in so many ways it seems like yesterday. I still smile at my memories of you and the many laughs we shared.

Another year goes by and still I think of you daily. I still reminisce over the fun I had brainstorming with you and the times I'd come up with some wild potential solutions to challenges. Sometimes you debated with me, sometimes you'd tell me a better approach and sometimes you'd challenge me to bring my wild ideas to fruition. I still miss you. Bonnie

So hard to believe it's been 11 years since you've been gone. I still feel your presence and hear your dry sense of humor. When I'm in a quandary, I still ask myself "what would Pat say". He will always be close to my heart.

In memoriam:

I give you this one thought to keep, I am with you still - do not weep

I am a thousand winds that blow
I am the diamond glints on snow
I am the sunlight on ripened grain
I am the gentle autumn's rain.

When you awaken in the morning's hush, I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.

I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not think of me as gone, I am with you still...in each new dawn.

Pat's passing came as a shock and surprise to me. He was a fine man and a good and faithful friend to many. I wish we could have seen more of him. I fondly remember those days in the early 1950's when we were all kids growing up in Harlingen and San Benito, the times we spent together with Meme, Aunt Pearl and Lee, Grandma Kelly, and Aunt Ruth.

Mike and Madeleine, I'm sure you don't need me to remind you how wonderful Pat was to his aunts, as well as to my mother. His patience in seeing that her computer always had the latest protection and advancements was a source of both comfort and fun to her. I myself will never forget his unwavering response when, asked to join us in a spirited Yatzee game, he would answer, while sitting at the table with us and with a twinkle in his eye, "I can't...I'm too busy right now." I wish we could have one more Thanksgiving in Macon with him.

Dear Mike and Madeleine,

Our hearts are heavy now as you mourn the loss of Pat. Please know that we are thinking of you during this time and wishing you comfort in the days ahead.
