I'm a friend from Tad hometown in N.J.,my sincere condolences to his daughter Helen and family. Tad and mil were my family the year I spent in Cleveland in 1965, He was a true and lifelong friend and mentor. Always upbeat and accepting no matter the life circumstances. Hopefully I can get in touch with his daughter in Maine..to express my condolences. Love Anita (Heins) Krauth

Tad is my stepfather.. I still can't speak of him in the past tense, and his passing represents a huge loss to me and to my sons, and, to a great extent, to everyone who was fortunate enough to have known him. He was the kindest, wisest, most giving and loving man I've ever known. Above all, he really cared about his family, friends, and even people he barely knew, was truly interested in how others were feeling, how their lives were going, how they thought. His love for his family was unconditional.. he was not judgmental, and if there was any little thing he could do to help anyone else, he was anxious to do it. He was a truly great man, but was so humble that others knew that more than he did. Above all, his capacity to love was unlimited. His passing leaves a deep, "black hole" in my life and in my heart. As I try to work through my grief, I'm trying to remember just how fortunate I was to have known him, spend time with him, learn from him. He taught me so much, mostly just by example and the way he lived. He lived with integrity, love of life, a giving spirit and, above all, an incredible capacity to love... I would so like to magically "bring him back" - yet I take comfort that he is now with He who loves him even more than I do.

Very caring individual. When I was rehabing my knee replacement at Majestic Oaks he came to my room every day for two weeks to visit. Little things like that.
