Debbie Bergin passed away on August 5, 2018 in her home in Winter Park, Florida surrounded by family and friends who loved her. She was 48 years old. Debbie battled and survived breast cancer for 9 years before it claimed her. Debbie was born on May 4, 1970 in St Louis, Missouri. She was the youngest of 5 children and lived in Missouri, Maryland and North Carolina before arriving in Winter Park, Florida at age 11. Other than 3 years in law school, Winter Park would remain Debbie's home. Debbie was a graduate of Winter Park High School, the University of Central Florida, the University of South Florida and Stetson University College of Law. She was awarded a Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree in Business Administration and a Juris Doctorate Degree. Debbie was a 20 year member of the Florida Bar and practiced law in Orlando at the Kubicki Draper law firm where she was a shareholder. Debbie deeply loved her family and friends. She was very proud of her daughter Alexandra and son Nicholas. Debbie loved spending every available moment with her children and her husband traveling, boating, skiing in the mountains and playing on the beach. She loved attending sporting events and concerts with her family and friends, and brightened any room simply by her presence. She was a wonderful mother, wife, daughter, sibling, aunt, cousin and friend. Debbie loved her many dogs. Debbie was passionate about civil rights for all people. She judged people by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin or sexual orientation. Debbie is survived by her loving husband, Andrew, her children Alexandra and Nicholas, her parents, Russ and Eileen Bergin, her siblings, Russ, Bill, Teri and Michelle (Hull), their spouses, Kim, Gary and Rob, her father in law Stefano Seferlis and mother in law Linda as well as Andrew's sister, Christine (Myung) and her husband Jeff.
