Respected Winter Park businessman Geoffrey Michael Sargeant, 86, died peacefully surrounded by family at home on October 19, 2018. He is survived by his wife, Juliette "Judi" Holler Sargeant of Winter Park, Fla.; son, Jeff (Holly) Sargeant, and daughter Mary (Mitch) Sargeant Karlan, both of Connecticut. He was predeceased by their mother, Grace Sargeant. He is also survived by Juliette's family, including Roger Holler III (Sallye), Dr. Christopher Holler (Danyal) and Jill Holler Rogers (Mike) and their families. "G" is already missed by his scores of grandchildren and great-grandchildren for his loving ways, sparkling eyes and quick wit, bringing joy into every room he entered. The family's dogs, Ginger and Tabitha, sense his loss and are consoling those he left behind. He was born July 14, 1932 in Port Chester, NY, in the same hospital where Juliette was born years later. Former owner and principal of Insurance Trends, Inc. in Westport, Connecticut, he was a trusted advisor to the Holler and Classic automotive and real estate companies. Growing up, he was an avid fisherman and racquetball player. Staying in shape was important to him. He also enjoyed photography and lighthouses. "G" was all about family. Favorite memories include vacations to Hawaii, Cape Cod, family trips to New York for Thanksgiving and Christmas, and especially the trip to Las Vegas when he and Judi eloped.
