William Kelly Fahey Notice
Bill Fahey, age 89, of Longwood passed away peacefully June 10, 2018, surrounded by his family. Born in Cleveland, Ohio on November 12, 1928 to Charles and Elizabeth Fahey, he was the fourth of ten children. He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Pearl. Preceded in death by brothers Charles O'Fahey and Richard Fahey and son Jeffrey Fahey; survived by sisters and brother Sister Miriam Daniel (Jeanne) Fahey, Kathleen Horton (Phillip), Barbara Chase (Vern), Patricia Fahey (Tom), Daniel Fahey (Mary), Anne Sheaff (Joe), and Virginia Castillo (Israel); children William Fahey Jr.(Val), James Fahey (Brenda), Elizabeth Renninger, Marguerite Fahey, Jennifer Peterson (Mark), and Maureen Bloomingdale (Jack); and 27 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Bill and Pearl moved to Sweetwater Oaks in 1974 when he began working at Tupperware International. He retired in 1993 as V.P. of New Products. Affectionately known as the "Mayor" of Sweetwater Oaks, he served for many years on the community board. Bill was a life-long Rotarian and Paul Harris Fellow. He was a founding member of Annunciation Catholic Church, where he ran the Fall Festival Auction for many years. He most recently founded the "lovable legends of Longwood Starbucks." A leader in our community who was a friend to many, he will be sorely missed by all. Arrangements will be handled by DeGusipe Funeral Home, Maitland. A funeral mass will be held at Annunciation Catholic Church on June 18, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to: Sisters of the Holy Names, P.O.
