Gary Tharp Obituary
We extend our heartfelt sympathies to his wife, Virginia, and the entire Tharp family. Father to Pam, Ryan and Grant, beloved "Papa" to Amanda, Kyle, Zhenia and Angelina, and great-grandfather to Evangeline, Abigail, Chase and Roman. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Sat Nov 23, 2019, St David's By-the-Sea Episcopal Church, 600 4th St S, Cocoa Beach, FL.

My condolences to the Tharp family. Gary was a true genius at his craft and it saddens me to learn of his passing. Gray's sublime life truly touched a lot of people, myself including in that long list. Gary was both a friend as well as a mentor... Shalom Gary! Tony Bellenger

Tipping the martini to you, my friend. The best friend a person could have, Gary will be sadly missed by me and my family. Christmas won't be the same without him showing up at the door, claiming our house to be "immensely fun." Angelina put together a book of memories with him, and giggled in spite of herself when she realized how many restaurants were attached to her experiences with Papa. There was so much more though to the important role he played in her life, from learning to swim to grandparent's day at school. Who says we can't pick our family?
