Jean Ann Kuzbiel, age 92, of East Tawas, died on Thursday, April 8, 2021 at her home under the loving care of her family and hospice.
She was born the daughter of Joseph and Anna (Dragula) Moskal on Jan. 28, 1929 in Saginaw. Jean married Julius (Jake) Kuzbiel on May 22, 1948 and together they shared 73 years of marriage and raised two children.
Jean worked at Lufkin Rule for 21 years before her retirement. She enjoyed doing ceramics and stained glass and spending time with her family and her favorite nephew, Richard (Mary) Moskal.
Jean is survived by her children, Kathleen (Ken) Rundell and Wayne (Carol Shoultes) Kuzbiel; grandchildren, Ken Rundell Jr., Scott Rundell, Gail (Shawn) Ballor, Kristy (Fiance Chris Grabowski) Kuzbiel and Wayne (Amy) Kuzbiel Jr., great grandchildren, Spencer, Macy, Peyton, Hunter, Alicia, Logun, Kayla, Hunter and Jackson; step grandchildren, Mechelle, Courtney, Blaine and Riley; and three step great-great grandchildren. Jean was preceded in death by her parents; husband; her siblings, Irene Slasinski, Cel Kelley, Chet, John and Ed Moskal; and her granddaughter, Yvonne Rundell.
A private funeral mass will be held for Jean at Holy Family Catholic Church on Thursday, April 15. Condolences may be shared at www.bureshfuneralhomes.com.
