KINGSBURY, Robin LUKE 23:43 "I tell you the truth, today you will be with me in Paradise" After a long and courageous battle, Robin went peacefully into the arms of Jesus on Sunday, October 29, 2006. The amazing strength that Robin showed through his many years of pain and adversity was an inspiration to many. Much loved and admired husband of Dawn. Cherished father, "Papa Roach", of Amy and Julie. Precious son of Shirley Kingsbury and the late Clarence Kingsbury. Loving brother of John (Lynn), Ronald (Kathy), Jayne, Wendy (Maurice), Bevan, Blair (Natalie) and Jeffrey. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends may visit at the West Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 150 Woodroffe Ave. at Richmond Rd. on Friday, November 3, 2006 from 7 - 9 p.m. and Saturday November 4th from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. Memorial Service will be held on Monday, November 6, at 10:30 a.m. at All Saints Lutheran Church, 1061 Pinecrest Road. Special thanks to family and friends who have upheld us with much love, support and prayer. And to Wendy, our unending gratitude for the gift of her kidney that allowed us to have 23 more years with Robin, and two beautiful daughters. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bethesda Renewal Centre, 253 Lowe Road, R.R. #4, Ashton ON K0A 1B0.

Dear Dawn, Amy and Julie: My condolences to you and those near to you. To me Robin was not only noted for his courage in the face of an uncertain future but also for his ability to find the absurd in any of life's many small irritations. I was so saddened to learn today of the passing of Robin. In my many running trips down Kingsbury Road in the summers, I often came across Robin out on the porch and he would always offer a cheery hello and encouragement - truly a special fellow! My sincere sympathies to all of you.
