Évangéline LEFRANÇOIS Obituary

Published by Ottawa Citizen on Oct. 24, 2015.
LEFRANÇOIS, Évangéline
It is with great sadness that André (Trish), Jules (Mélina) and Maurice Lefrançois (husband) announce the passing of Évangéline Lefrançois (née Guillotte) on October 15, 2015 of a disease carried with great courage. She was born in Val- Rita, Ontario in 1939, daughter of the late Émile Guillotte (1967) and Flore-Ida Deslauriers (1977). Predeceased by her sisters Thérèse (1959) and Bernadette (2007). Left to mourn in her passing are her only brother Joseph (Mariette) and their children; her sister Marie Guillotte (son Daniel); her sister Cécile Henry and their children. Évangéline was first and foremost a great mother, career nurse with the General Hospital's thoracic unit and a lover of arts and nature. A private Funeral is to be held at the Hope Cemetery at a later date. Those who wish to remember Évangéline can do so by donating to the diabetes association of Canada and the eye institute of Ottawa.

I only met you twice but I thank you for bringing your wonderful son André into this world and thus into my life. He is a dear friend and an outstanding human being. This says a lot about the person you must have been.

I'm Evangeline, I thought of you often even though I lived miles away. Your dedication to family was so beautiful.
