COOK, Geoffrey Cassels March 22, 1925 - March 1, 2010 Born to Helen Irvine Smith and Phillip Waldron Cook in Windsor Ontario. Peacefully in his sleep on Monday, March 1, 2010 at St. Vincent Hospital, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada at the age of 84. He is survived by his brothers Christopher George Cook and Anthony Irvine Cook and their families in Montreal and Florida. He dedicated his life and career to Canadian service. His career took him and his family to Ankara, Turkey, Washington, DC, USA, Quito, Ecuador and Madrid, Spain. Between foreign assignments and after retirement in 1981, Beth and Geoff enjoyed their wooded home in Rothwell Heights in Ottawa. We would like to extend our sincere thanks to all the care-giving staff at both the Montfort Hospital and St. Vincent Continuing-Care Hospital for the wonderful care they provided him during the last 20 months of his life.
