Please accept my sincere condolences in the death of your dear sister, sister-in-law and aunt. I intended to extend my sympathy personally, however, circumstances prevented me from attending the funeral. May GOD be with you in your time of sorrow.
Very sincerely,
Thelma Gaudry.

Iva was a very dear friend for 37 years. We worked together at Telesat and continued our friendship in Russell and after she moved to Metcalfe. We spoke on the phone on Thursday afternoon, the day before she passed away. She was in great humour and keenly interested in what was happening in the world and in the community. I will miss her phone calls, advice and laughter. I can still hear her voice, "Mona, it's Iva, are you busy"? My sympathy to Ferne & Billy and to all her neices and nephews. She cared so much for all of you.

i didn't know Iva but i know Bill, and just wanted to extend my sympathy to the family on her passing. she looks so precious in the picture, and if she is anything like Bill, I know she was a good person.

Iva has been a wonderful friend to our family for many years. As children, my sister and I spent time with Iva and Eddie playing cards, talking, but mostly laughing. She was so interested in everything we were doing. My life has been blessed by her presence in it. I will miss her.

Ferne and Billy - we're so sorry to hear of Iva's passing. What a sweet lady she was! That wonderful smile and quiet giggle will always be remembered.
