Louise Reynolds 1919-2016 Louise has died of natural causes in Courtenay, B.C., June 21. Born in P.E.I., she lived a full and eventful life as a teacher, civil servant, mother of four, diplomat's wife, world traveler, TV and radio researcher, hospital volunteer and author of two biographies and an extensive family tree. Predeceased by her husband Ralph, Canadian diplomat and ambassador, her brother Munro and sister Ruth, she leaves behind her four children, Rennie[Sharon] in Comox, Carol in England, Gary in Campbell River and Jackie[Jim] in Ontario as well as eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She loved life in Ottawa between postings and in retirement but eventually moved to Comox, B.C., to be near family. The family is grateful for the compassionate care of the staff in Seniors Village, Courtenay, during her final months. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held in Comox at a later date.
