Ann, Martha, Elizabeth, Lawrence, Mark, Peter and Alison. As I have said to some of you in person, my sympathies and respects on Mary Ann's passing. Her sharp mind was perfectly balanced by her sense of humour. L Boyle was a pretty good partner to choose for someone who liked to laugh. In turn L Boyle probably had unfair access to some of the world's best desserts. I too will miss her. Nephew Chris Wheeler

My mother, Helen Lawlor went to Normal School in Ottawa with Mary Ann Wheeler. Mom had many happy memories of their friendship and spoke with fondness of their days together in Ottawa. Respectfully Avita Baskin, Belleville, Ontario.

to all the Boyle family,
I was so sorry to hear of your mother's death. I remember her well at RPPS - although by the time I got to Grade 8, she had gone off to have Ann! My brother Christopher was in her first class at the school. She was a superb teacher, preparing elementary students for the big world of High School.
And then, lo and behold, the growing Boyle family turned up on Mohawk Cres, neighbours of our parents, Eric and Margaret Brand. We all enjoyed watching this wonderful family go about their activities - some even liked to come and check out our grandfather clock (think that was Allison!). We last saw your mum at an RPPS reunion 2 years ago - her students were so thrilled that she could be there. Unfortunately I am out of town, or I would be with you tomorrow. We hope you all find comfort in many very happy memories. We send you all, our deepest sympathy,

Dear Ann, Al, Sarah, Matthew, and all the Boyle family,

We are so sorry to hear of your mom's death. We certainly have lots of great memories from years ago and visits to your busy household. What a wonderful mother and amazing educator she was. A terrific sense of humour like all of your family. Your Dad and Sean can now have her in their audience once again. You will be in our thoughts and prayers today and in the months to come.

Love Kathy and Tina xo

I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. Your mom was so sweet and I will always remember her generosity whenever I was at her home..offering me meals and her amazing biscuits in the morning after a sleepover. You're all in my thoughts.
Sincerely, Cathy Ferguson

Many fond memories of family gathering and overnights at aunt Mary Ann's house. No visit was complete without a homemade cake or pie or cookies, storytelling and lots of giggling. The Wheeler extended family has lost a great matriarch. Much Love and warm thoughts from Switzerland. Angela, Andy, Annina & Erin Maier (Wheeler)
