Aunt Mary was such a lovely, gracious lady, who carried on in the face of incredible, terrible hardship. I was fortunate to be able to spend time with her, sharing stories of Africa and even watching "Murder She Wrote". George keeps the art books that Aunt Mary gave him in his carving shed and uses them for inspiration. We will not be able to be with you during the funeral but we will be thinking of you.

Much love always.

My deepest and heart-felt condolences to Sandra, Laura Anne, Suzanne, and Rama and your families at this time of significant loss. I was blessed to have known Mary since she and Patrick returned to Canada from their time in Uganda. Pat and Mary meant so much to me and I shall miss her dearly. She and your father were a wonderful example of what a marriage can be: true partnership and commitment to one another. Their faith was so strong, one was strengthened in one's own faith just by observing them. Your family has endured much suffering and loss in these past two years. But the love of God, and the prayers of your friends have been, and will continue to be, with you all now and in the days ahead.
In Peace,
Susan Suppes
