Truely redefined the "gentle giant" .. We looked forward to having beers on the beach, a laugh or 10 and most of all your Donald Duck inuendo. Ali, Ben, Drew, Zoe and I will remind ourselves of the positivity and funfilled memories you have given us at Ross Lane Beach. May you rest in Peace and may your family find comfort in your angelic presence and spirit in their lives.

When I moved to Ottawa, Jean, even though not my direct boss, made me feel right at home and was always so friendly, fun and supportive. He always talked so highly of his own family and played a bit of father role to me when I was so far away from home. His death was too early. Although, in his short years, he seemed to touch a lot of people in very inspirational ways. My thoughts and prayers to his family.

Do not stand at my grave and weep,
I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am in a thousand winds that blow,
I am the softly falling snow.
I am the gentle showers of rain,
I am the fields of ripening grain.
I am in the morning hush,
I am in the graceful rush
Of beautiful birds in circling flight,
I am the starshine of the night.
I am in the flowers that bloom,
I am in a quiet room.
I am in the birds that sing,
I am in each lovely thing.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there. I do not die. - Mary Frye

Never let the sorrow of saying goodbye stand in the way of your memories of saying hello, because in the end that's what matters - being able to say hello again - and again.
My love to you all.

Dear Jean, Daniel & Michelle,
and Andre & Gram Audet,
Beautiful memories are wonderful things, they last till the longest day, they never wear out, they never get lost, and can never be given away. To some you may be forgotten, to others part of the past. But to us who loved and lost you, your memory will always last.

Dear Jean, Dan and Michelle;
People do not die for us immediately, but remain bathed in a sort of aura of life which bears no relation to true immortality but through which they continue to occupy our thoughts in the same way as when they were alive. It is as though they were traveling abroad.
I believe that imagination is stronger than knowledge -- myth is more potent than history -- dreams are more powerful than facts -- hope always triumphs over experience -- laughter is the cure for grief -- love is stronger than death.Your husband and father was aware of them all. God Speed my friend.
