I am so sorry to hear of his passing so many years ago. I worked with Betty at the RCMP and I just loved her so much. She was beautiful and loved Guy with all her heart. I loved to hear her stories of being a war bride. God bless you. This is me back then.

Dear Betty. I've only just seen that Guy died on December 19, 2012. I am so sorry for your loss. I was very privileged to accompany many veterans to the 45th anniversary of the liberation of Holland. I got to know your husband and his caregiver, your son John. I was so impressed with them that I felt compelled to keep in touch over the years. I hope your fondest memories of Guy help sustain you at this difficult time.

Dear Aunt Betty and Family,

I have many wonderful memories of Uncle Guy from my childhood; most often running into him on Remembrance Day or at Cartier Square when following Grandpa around.

We are thinking of you and wish we could be there in person to pay our respects to a great man.
