DAN CRONE Obituary
Passed away peacefully at Juravinski Hospital, Hamilton, Ontario on September 25, 2015 in his 101st year. Born in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan to Harold and Alice Crone on October 13, 1914. Beloved husband of Margaret (predeceased). Loving father of Wayne Crone (Janet) and their children Wendy and Dan (predeceased) and Diane Lumsden and her children, Katie (Rodolfo), Michael (Helena), Bob, Chrissy McComb (Mark). Fondly remembered by great-grandchildren Jessica, Pablo, Blanca, Halliday, Miller, Ian and Eric. Predeceased by brothers Ken, Arnold and sister Lucy. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews, friends in Ottawa, West Ottawa Rotarians plus staff and dear friends at Meadowlands Retirement. There will be a Memorial Service at 1 p.m. followed by reception to Celebrate Dan's Life until 4 p.m. on Saturday, October 3, 2015 at the Meadowlands Retirement Home 1248 Mohawk Rd., Ancaster. In lieu of flowers, charitable donations may be made to Heart and Stroke, Alzheimer Society or charity of your choice. Arrangements entrusted to

I was lucky to have worked with Dan throughout my career: Comptroller of the Treasury, DSS and the Auditor General's Office. He was a consummate Gentleman. RIP to a truly Good Person.
