I was a patient of Dr. Ruddy's for over 20 years. She was an excellent doctor and treated me in a very professional manner. She was also a friendly and caring person, and helped me control my severe psoriasis over many years. I am very sad to hear of her passing. Sending my deepest condolences and sincere best wishes to her family. May she rest in peace.

My sincere condolences to Dr. Ruddy's husband and children. I learned about her passing only in June and I am truly saddened that she is not with us anymore.
My son Juan and myself have been seeing Dr. Ruddy for many years, at times just to touch base so we can keep our spot in her busy schedule, in McCleod, Kanata and Riverside. I would always ask her how her children were and her eyes would always light up. On my last appointment, not knowing it was to be the last, I asked her again about her children and she said they are away at school and are coming home for the summer. There were times when I would share some Filipino dishes for her to try and she would say I always give her food and will say too that she will have it for dinner. She is very kind, always appreciative. If there's something we have in common, it is that we both like Louis Vuitton purses.
Yesterday, we went to visit her resting place, brought her roses fit for a beautiful lady. Her family did an excellent landscaping job, it's beautiful!
Thank you Dr. Ruddy for being a wonderful, caring and amazing doctor. We miss you.

I too a shocked to see that Dr. Ruddy passed away. I just had another treatment of botox and it doesn't take like when she did it. So I said to myself "i am going to look her up to see if she is still administering botox treatments". I am so sorry to hear of her loss. I am surprised too to see she was born in 1953. She kept herself in excellent shape and definitely did not look her age. WOW she was definitely an amazing woman.

I am in shock. I was just calling to make an appointment and found the number had been discontinued. I loved Dr. Ruddy from the minute I first went to her at least twenty-five years ago. She was caring and kind, and always helpful. She went out of her way to answer any and all questions, even if they didn't fall under her direct care. I shall miss her greatly.

I suspected this happened. But, until today when I called to make an appointment, I did not know. I'm so truly sorry to experience this loss, for all of us.
Dr.Ruddy (who I called Catherine) and I had more than a 30-year patient-doctor relationship. We often joked about how we aged together.
Not long ago, when I was in to see Dr. ruddy, she pulled my patient card, and said: "You know, you and I have one of the longest relationships I have on file. Your patient information card is yellow!"
I adored Dr. Ruddy and thought she was both brilliant and lovely. Catherine always reminded me of the beautiful Jaclyn Smith, classy, gorgeous.
I'm so sorry she is gone and she will be missed.

Having just returned to Canada this month (March 2018) I tried to reach Dr. Ruddy.
I was shocked to see her obituary online.
On my last visit, we shared some personal stories. I sensed her compassion. Although I asked about her health, she did not really comment. I feel that we have lost an excellent doctor and a very understanding and compassionate person. My heart goes out to her family.

It is very difficult to put into words how much Dr. Ruddy meant to me. Twenty years ago she diagnosed my very rare illness and helped me through the toughest times. I attended at her office on a very regular basis for her to continue to closely monitor my condition. As a teacher, we often discussed her children. She always spoke of her family with such pride. I am so sorry to hear of Dr. Ruddy's passing. I knew she was on medical leave from time to time, but I had no idea that her illness was so serious. I will miss my annual visits to her, enlightened as they usually were with a bit of humour, and completely lacking in any indication that her own condition was so much more threatening than anything I've had to deal with.
