Many fond memories of hanging around

together in Killaloe/Round Lake/Barrys Bay when we both worked in Ottawa...we played many a Saturday nite dance for weddings, parties etc....as Gerry was a great fiddle player,,and I tried my best to keep up on the guitar...many miles and a few beer between us were enjoyed on his unique American

model 50 Chev hardtop.....many long

enjoyable phone conversations also will be remembered as I would call him from a hotel room where ever my travels took me...as we relived the

"good old days" during those discussions.....also many a great meal at his parents on the farm..

Memories of a Great Man, Jerry

Jerry was a very kind, caring, thoughtful pleasant individual. He always had a smile on his face and more than welcome you at anytime. Whether is was to his beautiful home or cottage where he built and shared with his loving wife Claudette and his beautiful little girl Lisa. Alot of ,many happy memories of family gatherings. Claudette playing the piano and Jerry on the violin, they were a very talented entertaining couple. Only the good times!!

Jerry had a very unique talent that we had never seen before, building old model cars, boats, camping trailer, wind mills lawn ornaments always keeping himself busy.

Just to mention his bicycle he had built and has every piece of chrome just shining. He had taken and pride and joy all the those pieces he had pieced together.

One time I came to visit and made home made Chili, he says mmm! mmm! that is my favorite my response was is it really? and he said yes only because you made it. He made you feel so special, he could always pick you up when and if you were feeling down.

You know the stories can go on! on! He always enjoyed having a beer with Rusty and his company and he made it well known to Rusty.

Jerry holds a very special spot in our hearts, and will never go away the fond memories that he has left behind we hold and treasure very dearly. Always remembered! until we meet again.

We love you Jerry & Claudette,

Love Rusty, Shirley, Jennifer, Matthew and Ryan Black

Uncle Jerry will be sadly missed. Even though I have not seen him for a long time, he gave to me a very special gift (lamp), which he made with love just for me.
