Gloria Colberg

1925 - 2019

Gloria N. "Paula" Colberg went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Saturday Oct. 5, 2019. She was born Aug. 9, 1925 the daughter of the late Albert and Jesse (Lothammer) Canute. Gloria married Lester Colberg, Sr. on Oct. 9, 1941 in Isabella County. He died Nov. 15, 1984. They lived in Coleman where Gloria enjoyed her family, playing her guitar, and singing gospel music. She worked for Kraft for 19 years.



Survivors include her son Lester "Bud" and Maria Colberg, Jr, of Mount Pleasant; daughter Diane and Shorty Cornia, of Beaverton; beloved grandchildren: Joybell, Joe, Jordan, Ron, Tammy, Lyle Jr.; many great and great-great-grandchildren; niece Barb Hilfman, of Coleman; nephew Gary Goodrich of Pardeeville, Wisconsin; and several nieces and nephews. Gloria was preceded in death by her son Lyle; sisters, Lois Goodrich and Virginia Snear; and son-in-law Lyle Whitman.



Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2019 at the O'Laughlin Funeral Home, Inc., with Bishop Daniel Skirvin officiating. Burial will take place in the Warren Township Cemetery, in Coleman. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. and on Wednesday starting at 10 a.m. until the time of services. Memorials may be directed to Heartland Hospice.
