Harry Mohlmann Obituary
Harry W. Mohlmann III died peacefully at home on April 20, 2021 with Sandi at his side. He was 87. Harry earned degrees in Chemical Engineering with a MBA from Sewanee College and Auburn University. In 1957 he began an exciting and international career with Dow Chemical Company, traveling the world in his global positions. He lived in Brazil, Columbia, Venezuela and Chile. After retiring from Dow Chemical Harry returned home to Charleston pursuing a life-long hobby researching and documenting his family genealogy. He became a Habitat for Humanity volunteer helping to build houses in Charleston and Columbia. During a wine-tasting Barge trip through Burgundy he was inspired to become a Vintner. His Vineyard produced Chateau Faux Sauterne, for family and friends - which he jokingly declared rivaled Chambord Liqueur. Harry is survived by his beloved children; Mark (Cordelia) Mohlmann, Cynthia (William) Roland, Ted (Roberta) Mohlmann; sister Babs (Barbara) Fulcher and 10 Grandchildren. Harry will be interred in Charleston with a private family celebration at Bethany Cemetery, in the company of his ancestors.
