Shepherd High School- class of ‘67. Mrs. Riley was my all time favorite teacher. Last time I ran into her she was working at a book store in Midland. So happy to see her. Yes, as others have said, she was bubbly. I attended CMU with an English major and I can thank her for that. Thank you Mrs. Riley. Condolences to her family. She was an awesome person.

I had the pleasure of taking care of this feisty little woman! She made every day so fun and I got the honor of being able to care for her on her last few days ❤ She will be so absolutely missed here at Stratford Pines. It's not the same without her. My condolences and prayers are sent out the family, and her two wonderful sons who were delight to have here.

Mrs. Riley is on my all-time favorite list of people. I have many fond memories of her from both school and church. She gifted my husband and me with a beautiful quilt for our wedding which I absolutely loved. I cherished the times I happened to bump in to her after high school. She will be greatly missed. My condolences to Kelley and Ted and the rest of the family.

My condolences to Mrs. Riley's family. I had her as a Spanish & Journalism teacher and worked with her on the MHS newspaper. Wow I did the math, a ton of years ago! I still remember her spirit and spunk. She was an amazing teacher that I had a lot of respect for. She was the teacher that made my Senior year so much better after another teacher was not so nice to me, and she found out! She demanded fairness, honesty and treated all students the same. I am glad I came across this, to share what a great influence she made. If not for her my Senior year of school probably would not have been as enjoyable. As you can see she will not be forgotten, as I said it has been a ton of years and my memory of her kindness is as vivid today as it was then, thank you Mrs. Riley!!!

Mrs. Riley❤ She brought so much life and laughter to us. She always believed we could... you will be missed greatly.
It was a gift having you as both a French teacher, and working closely with you on on our MHS newspaper. You believed in me, and changed my life by speaking into me with your wisdom and clarity. You brought strength where I needed it. You will never be forgotten, and you will be held in high esteem. Your legacy lives on in your family.
“VOTRE HERITAGE PERDURE!”

My sincere condolences to Ted and Kelly. Your mother will always be with you. May her memories and spirit be with you, and live in you all the remaining days of your lives.

She was an amazing teacher and I appreciated her honesty and enthusiasm for her subject taught. There are some classes I wouldn’t be able to tell you more than a few things talked about, but 25 years later and I remember working on many of our Spanish assignments and videos. Condolences to her family and close friends.
