God. I just saw this after not hearing from you in a while. I was right there for my step fathers funeral in October. I'm so sorry for missing everthing. I remember my teenage years working with you at Day Signs. I will never forget you Chuck. Til another day. Cheers.

My dear friend and neighborhood brother. A rebel, always challenging the norm. Your art became your passion. You told me once I would never know my limitations until I pushed to that point. And that's where you lived your life, always at that point, always on the edge. Rarely, if ever, compromising what you believed in. You had a heart for life that probably few people knew. You're missed and forever loved....."Mac"

A dear friend. Grew up together when Wolf Drive and Haskin Drive were at the outer fringes of Midland. You were always a rebel. Trapping muskrat in the "creek"...working at The Old Hickory House, having your paper route. And then we joined the Navy together....a chapter in itself. Then the art, your passion. Did what you wanted, how you wanted. You once told me I would never know my limits unless I pushed those limits....and you lived by that yourself. I miss you, as do all those who really knew you. Your love and honesty will always be cherished. Miss you brother...

Once a friend, always a friend with Chuck. We've known each other since our teens. Distance, time, and suffering never made a difference to him. He would eagerly reminisce and joyfully take time to reconnect, even if only by phone or online. Like so many others, I've been in awe of his talent and am blessed to have had one of his pieces, which has been prominently displayed over the years. It's timeless and cherished. He is missed. Sharon and I recently reconnected with Chuck many years after our close friendship on USS Escape. Those Navy days, as our memories of our friend, will live on forever.
