NATHANSON, Charles Brian "Nate" Age 60, passed away November 7, 2016 in Houston, Texas. Charlie was born October 8, 1956 with a love of life and an infectious laugh. He was forever a kind soul, accepting of everyone. He traveled often, much for business, but always making time for a round of golf and turning strangers to friends. He graduated from Alter High School in Kettering, Ohio, and Auburn University, earning Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Criminal Justice. He was the ultimate Auburn Tigers fan. He is remembered by many co-workers for his friendly smile and commitment to customers at Bed, Bath and Beyond, where he worked in management for twenty years. He was preceded in death by his father, Frederick Nathanson. He is survived by his mother, Ruth Ann Nathanson of Cincinnati, Ohio; his sister, Joan Keating and husband Bill of Cincinnati, Ohio; his brother Steven Nathanson and wife Kathy of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He is also survived by nine nieces and nephews and four great nieces and nephews who adored their Uncle Charlie for teaching them to take life less seriously. His family wishes to thank the physicians, nurses and staff at Park Place Hospital in Houston for their kindness and compassion. A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Our Lady of the Lake Foundation, Children's Hospital Campaign, 5000 Hennessy Boulevard, Baton Rouge, LA 70808.

It was a pleasure to know and work with Nate over the years at Bed Bath & Beyond.
We will never forget his traditional "White Castle" slider runs before our yearly meetings in NJ. He was a good man who will be missed by many. God Bless.
