Mary Feduniw Obituary

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Mary Feduniw, beloved wife, mother, grandmother (baba), and sister, on April 9, 2021 at the Good Shepherd Villa, in Prince Albert, SK. Mary was born in Wakaw, SK on June 13th, 1937 to her parents Steve and Julia Mayer. Being the middle of three girls, her and her sisters had a strong bond which stayed throughout their lives. Their bond remained strong after the loss of their brother, Steve. Her loving nature led her to meet and marry her husband of 63 years, Michael Feduniw.

Mary enjoyed making crafts and sharing them with everyone around her. Mary had a true Christmas spirit that was especially shown in her cooking including her homemade perogies. Mary's favorite hobbies were playing Bingo and putting together puzzles. The biggest joy for Mary was her grandchildren. Those who knew Mary will remember her as a very unique person and she will be missed deeply.

Mary will be lovingly remembered by her husband Mike; her sons, Allan and Brent (Barb); her grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Mary was predeceased by her infant daughter Charyn; her sisters Ethel Ruller and Mathilda Zsombor; and her brother Steve Mayer.

A private family service will be held. At Mary's request she will be laid to rest with her daughter Charyn in St. Jude Cemetery, Wakaw, SK. In lieu of other tributes memorial donations may be directed to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, or the Canadian Cancer Society. Family and friends wishing to send online condolences are welcome to visit www.beaulacfuneralhome.com. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Beau "Lac" Funeral Home & Crematorium, Marianne Turcotte - Funeral Director, Prince Albert, SK 306-763-3322.

So sorry to hear this. Mary was always a friendly face at Good Shepherd, had a twinkle in her eye and was fun to talk to. She was very kind to my parents there.

My sincerest condolences on the passing of Aunt Mary to Uncle Mike, Allan, Brent and family. Aunt Mary always seemed to be the one who had a bit of impishness and joy and would always have a wink and a smile as we kids did our misdeeds while growing up and then once we were adults would repeat, and have us relive, the stories of what we did back then to our younger descendants. She will be missed but will always be loved. xxoo

We are deeply saddened by the passing of our beautiful Aunty Mary. Our deepest condolences to Uncle Mike, Allan, Brent and family. We will miss Aunty Mary's quick wit, her sense of humour and sharp tongue, but mostly we will miss her loving, kind and thoughtful heart. She was truly loved....RIP my dear, dear Aunty xoxoxoxoxo
