Rosemary JEHLE Obituary
Rosemary Jehle died peacefully at her home in Palm Beach on March 24, 2018 at 101 years old. Rosemary was born in New York on February 18, 1917, was one of seven siblings (all now deceased), the third child of Isabelle Halaby Nasrallah and Sabah Nasrallah. Rosemary took great pride in her heritage and to see her first cousin's daughter, Lisa Halaby, become Queen Noor of Jordan. Rosemary is the widow of Faustin Francis Jehle, who died in Palm Beach in January 2003. Rosemary is survived by her three loving daughters and their families: Michele and her husband Victor Somogyi, Patricia and son-in-law James Reidy and her daughter Diane. Rosemary thoroughly enjoyed her 5 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren and her visits from her nephew Joe Aziz, one of many nieces and nephews who survive her. Everyone that knew Rosemary well attributed her longevity to a positive attitude and that one vodka martini at the end of every day for 70 years. Rosemary was a ballroom dance instructor and continued dancing well into her 80s. She imparted wisdom and kindness to her extended family of long time caregivers, who lovingly cared for her for almost a decade and made her final days peaceful and tranquil. Rosemary will be missed by all. A Memorial Service will be held at the Royal Poinciana Chapel on April 4, 2018 at 2:00PM. Rosemary will be buried at Calverton Veteran's Cemetery on Long Island, NY where she will rest in peace alongside her beloved husband Faustin. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to Clinics Can Help, 2560 Westgate Ave, West Palm Beach, FL 33409 or online (clinicscanhelp.org).
