Marcel Schwillens, 62, of Lake Worth, passed away at his home on Thursday, August 22, 2013. He was born and raised in the Netherlands, and served for 28 years in the military, retiring as a Sergeant Major. Upon his retirement, he and his wife Anita relocated to the United States and settled in South Florida in 1994. He was an independent contractor as a tour guide and bus driver, traveling the United States and Canada. He was also involved with the Boca Raton N.J.R.O.T.C. Bobcats. Marcel is survived by his wife, Anita; two children, daughter, Rita Schwillins; his grandson, Giovanni and son, Mark (Sheila) Schwillens; Marcel also leaves his brother, Wim (Mieke) Schwillens. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, at the funeral home, between 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM. The funeral services will be held on Thursday, also at the funeral home, at 10:00 AM.
