MICA, Mary

Mary Mica, of Palm Beach Gardens, died suddenly November 29, 2013 at the age of 98. Mary was a remarkable woman and inspiration to everyone. She was loved by all, our guardian angel. We have lost a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and a wonderful friend. Mary was born in East Paterson, NJ, September 2, 1915, married Martin Mica, September 21, 1935 and had two children. They moved to Florida in 1970 from New Jersey. She was preceded in death by her husband, Martin, on April 19, 1975. Mary is survived by her daughter, Janet Musil and husband, Frank, son, Jerry Mica, Sr. and wife, Susan. She has three grandchildren, Cheryl Grieve (John), Thomas Bianchi (Karen) and Jerry Mica, Jr. (Melissa). She also has five great-grandchildren, Jodi, Morgan, Zachary, Lauren and Sienna. She was a member of the Women of the Moose, Palm Beach Gardens, the Red Hat Club and a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Lake Park for over 40 years which she loved attending. Most of all she was very family oriented and will be missed not only by her immediate family but all who knew her. A Memorial Service will be held, Sunday, December 22, 2013 at 2:00 PM at St. John's Lutheran Church, 241 Cypress Dr., Lake Park, FL 33403. A reception after the service will be held at the Loyal Order of the Moose 2010, 3600 RCA Blvd., Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33410. In lieu of flowers, any donations can be made to St. John's Lutheran Church in memory of Mary.
