Roderick METT Obituary

1939 - March 22, 2018 Born in Milwaukee the only son of Fredrick Paul Mett and Florence (Behling) Mett. He attended Yale University Class of 61 where he won a history award and graduated cum laude. He was a Naval Officer who was the Navigator on the USS GEARING involved in the Cuban Missile Crisis for which he was recognized. He attended Law school in Madison WI after which he was Assistant Wisconsin Attorney General. He was twice elected Milwaukee County Supervisor representing Shorewood and the East Side. He moved to Florida in 1980 and worked as a developer. He first settled in W Palm Beach and later Ft. Pierce. He helped run Petit Marmite. He was active in the Republican party through out his life.
