Family-Placed Funeral Notice

JOHN PATRICK “J.P.” SCULLY, SR. 90 of Boynton Beach passed away Friday, January 13, 2006. Mr. Scully was a U.S. Army WWII veteran and retired from P & G after 43 years of service. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Marsha, his brother, Charles, his sister, Laura, and his half-sister, Mary Louise. Mr. Scully is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Rosemary Petersen Scully of Boynton Beach; three sons, John Patrick Scully of Bright, Indiana, Timothy James Scully and Michael William (Connie) Scully, both of Cincinatti, Ohio; daughter, Marla Laura Scully of Fairfield, Ohio; step-son, Mark Andrew Petersen of Cincinnati, Ohio; two step-daughters, Cynthia (Stephen) Walter of Kansas City, Missouri and Rebecca Jo Petersen of Cincinnati, Ohio; two grandchildren, Ryan (Amber) and Dana Scully; three step-grandchildren, Kevin and Beth Walter, Cliff Ward; and two great-grandchildren, Jaiden Scully and Jacob Little. Friends will be received at SCOBEE-COMBS-BOWDEN FUNERAL HOME, corner of U.S. Hwy. #1 and N.E. 15th Ave., Boynton Beach on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM with a Prayer Service at 7:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, January 19, 2006 at 11:00 AM at St. Mark's Catholic Church, Boynton Beach. Further Services and Military Honors will be held in Cincinnati, Ohio. Those who wish may make donations to Hospice of Palm Beach County, 5300 East Ave., West Palm Beach, FL 33407 in Mr. Scully's memory.
