Dear JR -
One of the best Christmas memories was going to your house and trying to "clap on and clap off" your Christmas tree! We sure got alot of laughs over that! In addition to that, I always enjoyed the surprise of some new delectable food you were trying out on the gang! I was specifically caught off guard the year we were over for a pre-Christmas & football get together and you said you were making jambalaya with sausage and shrimp! You were very excited about it, as you always were when you were making us something new. Your excitement was contagious, so we were excited about it too! You always exceeded our expectations - a man of many talents! I'm so thankful for all the memories shared with you. You live on in our hearts forever!!!

Jon, JR,, I remember all the times I came to visit, Florida, Georgia. You always welcomed me with open arms and treated me like a sister. I remember the time in Florida when Sue and I came home from a girls night out and I told you I meet a guy with a ponytail. You scolded me just as if you were my big brother, you always looked out for me. I will miss all the great times you, Susie, Kelsey and I had. I will never forget you and I love you as a brother. Hi Jon: Its been lonely for me lately, I guess because of Christmas. You loved Christmas and always had a habit of spoiling me and Kelsey with numerous gifts on Christmas morning. How you loved to decorate the house especially the holiday lights outside, even used to compete with the neighbors, you always wanted the most unique look or just more then the rest. It was fun to watch you go crazy, last minute trips to Target to get more lights to replace a string that went out suddenly. Always out there replacing bulbs and getting aggravated when a rain shower would cause a short. Even tough you swore every year you weren't going to do lights again, each year you did. Maybe it was to please me,Kelsey and Jennifer. It did, we liked it. This year we put up some lights, but not as many. No tree, can't bring myself to do that without you. Remember how we would write funny names for each other on the gift tags: “To Hubby From Wifey “To PITA From Lover. I will miss you forever, it will never be the same. Merry Christmas to you honey. May you rest peacefully and comfortably in paradise. With Love as always Susan

My dad was a wonderful man. He did everything in his power to give me the best life i could possibly have. Its been 6 months since his death and i couldnt miss him more. I think about him from time to time and wish that i could just talk to him one last time. I love him and miss him more than the world could even begin to understand. He will forever be in my heart for as long as i live. I love you so much daddy. <3 love your daughter, Kelsey

Today would have been your 57 birthday, I am remembering all the birthdays we shared together. Esp your 40th, golf weekend at Howie in the Hills, so romantic and enjoyable for us. Also your 50th at our home with friends. We really ragged you good about your age, the diapers...in the pool. You were funny and so happy, full of life and smiles. I miss that part of you, you always made me laugh. We were happy then, I am so sorry this has happened. I will miss you forever Jon. My love for you will will never stop. Missing you so much.
Love Susan

My deepest condolences. I had the pleasure of working with Jon at Tyco both in Atlanta and here in Boca Raton. I remember him fondly and the stuffed Teddy Bear that belonged to your daughter. He would bring it to the office so it could work with us and he would let Kelsey know how hard he had worked and all the mishaps that had occurred. I believe I had the pleasure of meeting you once or twice at the office and I do remember Kelsey. Again, my most heartfelt condolences to your family.

Susan and Kelsey,
We are so sorry for your loss. Jon's mom and my mom (Esther Czich Brenke) were sisters. My daughter and I had a nice visit with Jon before his mom passed away when he was in Michigan visiting her in the nursing home. I recognized him right away and we went with the Ringenberg side of the family to dinner. It was great to see the Ringenberg cousins again! You and your family are in my prayers for peace and comfort.

Looks like JR might get all of us girls back into the Ocala National Forest once again! We'll have to make a huge bonfire just for him! Then I'll stay up late and maybe make Jeff sit by the fire and argue with me about religious stuff just so it will feel like times of ole! ;-)
4 things I'll miss about JR:
1. All the drama watching Dolphin games!
2. My designated "turkey carver" on Thanksgiving - rubber gloves and all!
3. His strong opinions that could lead to a good debate!
4. Man at the grill!
You know I could go on and on and on, because JR touched my life in so many ways.
Love you girls (Sue, Kelsey, Jennifer)!
